John Johnson returned home to RJ Leeper Co in 2011. He brings with him seventeen years of commercial construction experience and shares in the corporate vision of customer first, quality driven construction. His project experiences include high rise office building, judicial, healthcare, multi-family residential and religious facilities.
Two highlights of John’s career to date have been the experience and knowledge he gained as a superintendent on the Mecklenburg County Courthouse and the NASCAR Hall of Fame Office Tower projects in uptown Charlotte, NC. These outstanding projects proved both challenging and extremely rewarding.
John believes that education is a lifelong pursuit and is always looking to better himself. He earned his Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology at Central Piedmont Community College in 2010. He continues to take classes at Central Piedmont and has been accepted into the Construction Management program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. When not working or studying, John enjoys spending time with his family, is active in his church, and coaches a tournament fastpitch softball team.
